Coherent noise
Generative Art

I've by working with the processing IDE lately to prototype different ideas. It's a great tool but unfortunately with a lot of bugs. I've been bitten by the quality of the coherent Perlin noise function. So I've decided to port to processing the Mr Perlin Simplex Noise coherent noise to have one of most important infrastructure needed when it comes to organic representation with computer in Art. And it's finally almost finished. The implementation still lack a reseeding feature and the Fractional Brownian Motion (aka FBM) defaulting to the standard values.

The code is in the Piment Noir Github in the fadecandy repository.
